Looking for a free photo booth template? Here is a straight answer on what costs nothing on this site and what does. Picking a design, customising it and checking how it looks is free and needs no account. Downloading the files for a customised design is paid, and the price is always shown before you pay.
Free, with no account needed
- Browsing the catalogue, the collections and each design page, with its formats and layouts.
- Customising a design in the editor: wording, colours, the number of photos among the layouts on offer, and the position and size of each area.
- Seeing the preview straight away, with sample photos standing in for the ones taken on the day.
- Keeping your draft on your device, where it saves automatically, and coming back to edit it later.
You could, for instance, customise Sky Blue Gingham right now without giving an email address, and decide afterwards.
What you pay for: downloading the files
Downloading the files for a customised design is paid. A customised design means one theme, one format, such as a 4×6 portrait print or a 2×6 photo strip, and one layout. At the standard rate it is €3 including VAT per customised design; some designs or promotions may show a different price, always visible on the design page.
The price appears on every design page and again in the summary before any payment, so you always know what you are paying before you pay it. If you want several formats of the same design, an ‘all formats’ offer is shown on the design page whenever it works out cheaper than buying each format separately.
Included after purchase at no extra cost
- All three files: the 300 DPI PNG overlay, transparent where the photos go, the JSON file of photo positions and the package to import into dslrBooth.
- Unlimited downloads of that design, from the confirmation page, the link in your email and My account.
- Unlimited corrections to the wording and layout, with your files updated each time.
- A link to your files that you can share with your photo booth hire company.
Our dslrBooth template and transparent PNG overlay pages describe these files in detail. The design is for your own event: it cannot be resold or redistributed as such.
How does payment work?
You pay by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page; we never see your card number. Before paying, a tick box asks you to agree to the files being supplied straight away, which is what lets you download them as soon as the order is confirmed. Your invoice is then available in My account.
My account opens through a sign-in link sent by email, with no password. The full terms are set out in our terms of sale.
