About Photobooth Template

What the site does

A photo booth frame is the printed artwork around the photos taken during the event: names, a date, a venue, a pattern. On the site, you pick a design from the catalogue, customise it in your browser without creating an account, and download an overlay that is ready for your photo booth.

The photo slots stay empty, since the photos are taken on the day. The file you receive is a transparent PNG overlay at 300 DPI, with the coordinates of each photo slot and an archive for dslrBooth.

Files designed for printing

The file format was settled with a working photo booth that prints at 300 DPI: an overlay at the real size of the print, transparent where the photos go, and a file giving the position of every photo to the pixel, with nothing to convert.

Exports are always rendered at the print resolution of the chosen size, never at screen resolution. Sizes range from 4×6 prints to photo strips and squares; the printing guide explains how to print them without surprises.

Where the designs come from

The designs are created by La Cabine Bretonne or published with the agreement of their authors. Each one comes in several layouts, depending on the print size and the number of photos; portrait and landscape versions are drawn separately.

A design that has already been ordered is never altered: if it changes, a new version replaces it in the catalogue and existing orders keep theirs.

Your work and your data

Signing in works with a link sent by email, with no password. Your draft is saved automatically while you customise, and your orders are kept in your account, where you can edit a line of text and share your files with your photo booth supplier.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare; accounts and orders are stored in the European Union. Payments go through Stripe, and we never receive card numbers. The privacy page has the details.
