Christening photo strip templates (2×6)
The 2×6 photo strip is a natural fit for a christening: compact, easy to slip into a card or a family album, and printed in pairs. These soft designs — gingham, pastel stripes, petals, blossom — all come in the strip format. Add the baby’s name and the date, then download a high-resolution overlay.

How a 2×6 christening strip works
The 2×6 photo strip measures 5×15 cm, or 600 × 1800 px at 300 DPI, and stacks the photos vertically. In the dslrBooth package, the strip is placed twice side by side on a 4×6 sheet and both strips show the same photos: one for the guest, one for the parents’ album, cut apart afterwards. Designs for a gentle, joyful day
Gingham suits a baby’s day well: Sky Blue Gingham, Lilac Gingham or Butter Yellow Gingham each frame an ivory cartouche for the name. Pastel stripes offer a playful alternative, from Rainbow Stripes in six pastel colours to Peach & Lilac Stripes.
For a floral look, Winter Mimosa brings bright yellow mimosa on pure white, Apple Blossom an orchard in spring, and First Buds tender green with bare branches coming back to life. Perfect Circle surrounds medallions with wreaths of pink cosmos, lavender and sage foliage.
Wording on a narrow strip
A strip has little room, so keep it brief: the baby’s first name, the date, perhaps ‘Welcome, little one’. The editor flags text that doesn’t fit its space. More ideas in our christening wording guide.
