Soft washes or bold gestures?
Some designs stay delicate. A Touch of Pink adds a single dusty-pink brushstroke beneath your names, Soft Pastels uses gentle gradients with no outlines, and Blue Wash plays with diluted ink and soft rings. Indigo Watercolour combines indigo ink blots with a large calligraphed ‘Wedding’.
Others are more graphic: Bold Brushstrokes crosses two wide strokes, Continuous Line is drawn in a single unbroken line, and Riso Duotone imitates two slightly misaligned risograph inks with visible grain. Chalkboard and Terrazzo suit relaxed, modern receptions.
Available formats
Every design here is available as a 4×6 print, portrait or landscape, and as a 2×6 photo strip. A Touch of Pink and Indigo Watercolour also come as a 5×5 square.
Keeping watercolour tones true
Pale washes are the first to suffer from the wrong printer settings. Print at 100% scale, with no fit-to-page option, and run a test on the paper you’ll use on the day. If a shade doesn’t match your palette, change the background colour or any colour in the design in the editor.
For the wording, names and date are usually enough, perhaps with a short line in the spirit of the design. More tips in our guide to customising a template. For flowers, see the floral wedding collection, or browse all wedding designs.
